Spend a relaxing weekend on the coast, getting to know the vibrant and multicultural city of Miami.

This accessible weekend adventure begins with a pick-up service in a wheelchair-accessible van from Miami International Airport. You will be driven to your hotel, the 4-star Iberostar Berkeley Shore Hotel.

On your first day you can choose to unpack and settle in or head to the beach, which is only a 2-minute walk away via a smooth flat path. Alternatively, you can contact our travel agents to see what other activities are available in Miami for your first afternoon. For dinner, you can choose to dine in the hotel’s Japanese or Mexican restaurant or explore some of the options available nearby.

After a good night’s sleep, you can wake up ready to enjoy a full day in Miami. You will take a bus tour. This bus tour of Miami brings together some of the city’s best tourist highlights and takes place on a bus with a transparent roof, so you can admire the great views whilst being protected from the elements. Drivers are available to help people with reduced mobility to transfer into the bus and there is space to store one manual wheelchair onboard. Service animals are also welcome on this tour.

On day 2 of your weekend in Miami, you will board a tour bus with a transparent roof to see some of the city’s best sights. This 3-hour tour covers many of the highlights of the city, from Little Havana to the Miami Design District. The bus driver will be available to help you transfer into the bus seat if you require assistance, and the transparent roof on the bus means that you can enjoy the tour whatever the weather. There are also 2 extended stops en route, where you can get off the bus to explore local neighborhoods, if you wish.

For the last day of your relaxing Miami weekend, you will enjoy a guided accessible tour of Miami’s Art Deco district. This unique neighborhood features pastel colored buildings from the 1920s and 1930s which have all been preserved as part of the city’s heritage. Your guide will take you around the Art Deco district and point out notable features to you, and can also take you inside some of the buildings to show you how the Art Deco style has influenced the interior design.

At the end of your Miami weekend, wheelchair-accessible transportation will be provided to drive you to Miami Airport or to the station of your choice.

Drivers are available to help people with reduced mobility to transfer into the bus and there is space to store one manual wheelchair onboard. Service animals are also welcome on this tour.

The tour lasts for approximately 3 hours and has 3 pick-up/drop-off points, plus an extended stop in Little Havana and in Wynwood. Each meeting point is easy to find and is located close to a parking lot. You’ll get a chance to see the South Beach area of Miami, with its famous Art Deco-style buildings, and then you’ll cruise through downtown Miami. Next is Little Havana, the neighborhood where many Cuban migrants settled, and you’ll have approximately 20 minutes here if you wish to get off the bus and explore.

Afterwards, you will head to Wynwood, the trendiest art district which is home to Wynwood Wall, a place to see the best urban street art. This stop is slightly longer, giving you time to explore the district by yourself, if you wish. The tour will then loop through to chic Miami Design District before returning to the first meeting point. The tour bus does not have accessible bathroom facilities, but the drivers are very familiar with the city and can recommend accessible public bathroom facilities in cafes or restaurants that are close to the stop-off points in Little Havana and Wynwood.

This accessible tour brings together the best cultural and culinary experiences in Little Havana, Miami.

You will meet your guide in Little Havana and set out for the tour, which will last approximately 2.5 hours. Little Havana was recently listed as an official American ‘National Treasure’ and is buzzing with Cuban culture. The tour includes some Little Havana highlights that other tours don’t visit, from artist studios to Cuban cigar makers to open-air markets. You will have plenty of opportunities to ask questions, learn about the area from your guide and snap great photos.

The tour also includes stop-offs at some of the best eateries in all of Little Havana, and you’ll eat a full lunch across the duration of the tour! This will include the best Cuban sandwich in Miami, churros made using a secret recipe invented by a Cuban grandma and other Latin treats which may feature empanadas and croquetas. The food will be accompanied by drinks such as tropical juice, Cuban coffee and the best mojito cocktail in Miami.

The tour visits places that are wheelchair-accessible and the sidewalks are smooth and paved, making it easy to navigate independently in a wheelchair. Your guide will be on hand throughout the tour to assist you, should you require help.

At the end of the tour, you will finish up at the meeting point and can ask your guide about other unmissable restaurants, bars and landmarks to visit in Miami.
